Three Tips for a Kick-Butt Thrfiting Trip

- You have to go to thrift stores. A lot. This seems obvious, but many people get discouraged when they can't find anything after going to a single store once or twice a week. We recommend going to multiple thrift stores every day of the week to increase your chances of leaving with a treasure. So be vigilant and go as often as you can!
- Create a route for efficiency. If you're doing serious thrifting, not browsing, make a tried-and-true route through each store to help you move quickly. Decide where you want to start first, in electronics, for instance, and go from there. This helps you stay focused and increases the chances that you'll find something great. Plus, as you're walking to your first stop you can quickly survey, and shop, if needed, the areas around you.
- Don't get discouraged! More often than not we leave empty handed. It's difficult to stay up-beat when you haven't scored anything in a week, but that's what keeps us coming back. The unknown and the possibility of finding something the next day!
